It’s finally March. March 1 is the start of meteorological spring. March 20 is the start of astronomical spring. But, when is the start of psychological spring? Winter seems to have gone on forever. Every year it seems to get longer.
One advantage of being a photographer is that even though my memory may not be as good as it once was, my photographs never forget. So, I dug out some photos from the previous seven Marches that we’ve experienced since returning to Wisconsin (2008 – 2014). Have all the winters been this long? Take a look for yourself.
According to the weatherman, last night was probably our final below-zero weather of the winter. And, better yet, by this weekend and early next week the temperatures are supposed to move up into the 40s or 50s. That could be all that my psyche needs!
