It’s been a very slow season for my photography. I started the New Year with an operation followed by a stint on a liquid diet and then a soft-food diet. Most of that time was spent under a blanket in my recliner. The year has also started out with record setting cold weather. That hasn’t made it any easier for me to get back into the swing of things. I normally enjoy the winter. I love the snow and, if I put on enough layers of warm clothes, walks outside are usually rewarded with beautiful winter scenes. But, when the daytime high refuses to exceed zero and just the sound of the wind makes me shiver, then it’s time for me to grab a book and stay inside.
