My wife likes mushrooms. Actually, she loves mushrooms. When it comes to eating, I don’t care for them myself. When it comes to photographing, however, I find those funny little fungus things kind of interesting. I know very little about mushrooms. In fact, even “very little” is a generous description of my knowledge. Other than the fact that these guys make their lives in the plant kingdom while eschewing chlorophyll, I know nothing. The no-chlorophyll thing does give mushrooms the option to adopt a variety of colors other than green, which, of course, adds to their interest in front of a camera lens.
